OK, I guess I'll start. One for the packpack for us would be the Kel-Tec Sub2000 9mm. Uses the Glock 30 rounder mags and folds up. Throw it in the bob and away you go.

I don't mind it. On the good side it is small and light but 9mm, really. Su-16c gets pretty small and give you 5.56's range and accuracy.

I'm thinking if you want your survival gun to be a 1 stop shop for all your needs the best compromise would be a carbine caliber so you could hunt and stop baddies with more success.
